At the end of October, I took trip to Columbia, Missouri to visit friends from the military school at which I graduated (Wentworth Military Academy). We stopped in Lexington, MO in route to visit my alumni campus. Later that weekend in Columbia, we attended Mizzou's homecoming game, where they engaged in an obvious shut-out against the Iowa State Cyclones (or as I call them, the "half twister/half cardinal"). On the way back to Fayetteville, I took the opportunity to drive through Joplin, MO and see the remaining destruction from the tornadoes that nearly wiped-out the whole town in the spring of 2011.
